New Ideas to Promote cat Overpopulation Awareness

We need more volunteers to educate our children and teens in the community about the importance of adopting a pet from a shelter, and that by “fixing” your cats, can everyone slow the overpopulation. It will also help solve the problem of homeless cats and the struggle of full shelters. You’re probably thinking, ” I can do that… but I don’t know what to say”.

Canyon County Pet Haven has updated our website to allow a closer connection to our community and create a larger social media presence by using smartphone friendly technology to reach a wider audience. We will continue to update our Facebook and Twitter pages but hope to bring the discussion here allowing you to comment on our blog with Facebook comment buttons. This site much like our old site offers information about donations, hours & location, information about our Caldwell Thrift Store, history, a listing of the cats and kittens available for adoption, and Friendly Fixers hours. We continue to appreciate our large and small business support as well as personal contributions. As a Non-Profit in Nampa we know that without your donations and support that we wouldn’t be able to save the lives that we do. Thank you and we look forward to reading your comments. | | |
